PPA Teacher
Part Time (with potential for Full Time) | Start ASAP

A primary school in York is looking for a PPA Teacher to join their team. This role offers part-time hours to begin with, though there is scope to increase to full time for the right person.If you have the ability to travel to other schools on a day to day basis, there will be work at multiple Primary schools that are within the same trust covering classes in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 according to your experience.
You’ll be covering primary year group classes across the school, providing high-quality PPA release while maintaining consistency and a calm, positive teaching style. The team is friendly, well-organised and keen to welcome someone who can slot in smoothly and support learning across a range of year groups.

• A confident teacher who can adapt to different classes and age groups
• Strong classroom management and clear, steady communication
• Someone reliable, organised, and able to build trust quickly with pupils and staff
Vetting requirements:
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Two recent and relevant references
• Right to work in the UK
• Full safeguarding checks in line with KCSIE
• Proof of teaching qualifications and QTS
