Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong background in kitchen and culinary experience. As a CDP, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety while contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
* Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and standards.
* Assist in the planning and execution of menus, ensuring creativity and seasonal relevance.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
* Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the head chef.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Participate in menu tastings and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing offerings.
Skills
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
* Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices to ensure compliance in the kitchen.
* Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, demonstrating an ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also taking initiative when required.

Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
