Job description
Working on behalf of a secondary school in North Liverpool, Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit a Sports Coach to work as Teaching Assistant with a group of identified pupils. The position is to support a Group of children at a time who can also display challenging behaviours and has significant barriers to learning. The incoming Teaching assistant will initially start the position with a view to being extended throughout the academic year.

The secondary school is looking for a graduate of sport to add to its warm vibrant staff team. You will be working on a group basis but will be given the support of the senior leadership team to develop your knowledge of the national curriculum. The pupils come for a variety of backgrounds. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
15. Previous experience working in a UK school
16. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
17. Hold Right to Work in the UK
18. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
19. Provide two professional child related references
