Job Opportunity: Experienced Nursery Teacher – Bootle Primary School
Location: Bootle, Merseyside Contract Dates: 3rd November 2025 – 12th February 2026 Role Type:Full-time, Temporary (Staff Absence Cover)Are you a seasoned nursery teacher with a passion for early years education and the leadership skills to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment?We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Nursery Teacher to join our vibrant and busy Nursery / 2-Year Room at a well-established primary school in Bootle. This is a critical cover role requiring someone who can hit the ground running, lead a team of dedicated staff, and provide exceptional care and learning experiences for our youngest pupils. What We’re Looking For:
1. Extensive Nursery experience (minimum 5 years preferred)
2. Proven ability to lead and manage a team within an early years setting
3. Confidence working in a high-demand,plex environment
4. A nurturing, resilient, and proactive approach to early childhood education
Please note: We are not accepting ECTs for this role. Only candidates with substantial nursery experience will be considered.
What You’ll Be Doing:
5. Leading the Nursery / 2-Year Room team to deliver outstanding care and education
6. Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for young learners
7. Supporting staff development and ensuring high standards of practice
8. Liaising with parents, carers, and school leadership to ensure continuity and quality
