Here is an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Deputy Team Leader - Practice Education, Theatres,
You will assist and support the practice education team in theatres in the facilitation and provision of education and training of all groups of the multidisciplinary theatre team in order to provide high standards of clinical practice and patient care.
Working collaboratively with the theatre manager and matron, as well as the practice education team leader, the postholder will help develop and deliver education strategies, encourage effective utilisation of resources and develop relations with the across site practice education team to develop and maintain a standard training programme.

Responsibilities
* Assist and support the practice education team in facilitation and provision of education and training.
* Help develop and deliver education strategies, encourage effective utilisation of resources and develop relations across site practice education teams.
* Maintain high standards of clinical practice and patient care through teaching and evidence‑based practice.
* Communicate effectively and provide people skills for high‑stress situations.
* Deputise for the team leader as required.
* Participate in clinical duties, work alongside learners to maintain own clinical skills and monitor/audit the competencies of other staff.
Qualifications
* Expertise in theatres with high standards and excellent clinical skills, including the ability to teach these skills to other staff.
