Job overview
The Auchi Acute Dialysis Unit is a busy and very friendly unit based in the Renal building at the Hammersmith Hospital. We are looking to appoint a self motivated, enthusiastic person with excellent interpersonal, organisational and computer skills and who have the ability to work under non direct supervision. The role offers experience in commissioning databases, finance and logistics.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday,10am to 6pm )
Main duties of the job
1. The Ward Clerk undertakes reception and clerical duties to help the smooth running of the Auchi Acute Dialysis Unit.
2. The ward clerk is the first point of contact for visitors and staff when they enter the unit and will provide directions, information and customer service as required.
3. The postholder is expected to use initiative and to work without direct supervision, as well as to use relevant information technology to facilitate the performance of tasks.
