PMLD & Sensory Learning Assistant – Specialist Provision

Contract: Full time, long term

Pay: £89 to £110 per day (PAYE)
This role is perfect for someone who wants to support pupils with profound needs in a calm, nurturing environment. You’ll help pupils engage with multi-sensory learning and be part of a thoughtful, caring team.
Your responsibilities:
* Supporting learners with physical, sensory and communication needs
* Helping with mobility, hoisting, equipment and personal care
* Assisting with sensory rooms, hydrotherapy and structured activities
* Working closely with teachers, physios and OTs
* Providing gentle encouragement during every interaction
We’re looking for someone:
* Warm and patient
* Confident supporting physical needs
* Great with communication through gesture, routine and sensory cues
* Open to learning specialist techniques

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
