Job Title: Void Cleaner Location: North London Salary: £25,000 per year Contract Type: Permanent About the Role Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Void Cleaner on behalf of a respected Housing Association client covering North London. This is a permanent, full-time position responsible for preparing empty (void) properties to a high standard before new tenants move in. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality cleaning and ensuring homes are ready, safe, and welcoming for new residents. Key Responsibilities Carry out deep cleaning of void properties to ensure they meet lettable standards. Clean kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, hallways, and communal spaces within empty properties. Remove rubbish and leftover items where required to prepare properties for re-letting. Carry out tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces. Clean internal windows, cupboards, appliances, and fixtures where required. Work alongside maintenance teams to ensure properties are fully prepared for new tenants. Report any damages, repairs, or maintenance issues identified during cleaning. Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety guidelines. Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is used safely and effectively. What We’re Looking For Previous cleaning experience, ideally within housing, property, or void environments. Ability to work independently and manage workloads across multiple properties. Good attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness. Reliable, punctual, and hardworking. Understanding of health and safety practices when using cleaning products and equipment. Ability to travel across North London as required, therefore being able to drive is essential.
