Desk Based Loss Adjuster – Aviva
Starting salary: £34,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
Overview
Join to apply for the Desk Based Loss Adjuster role at Aviva. You’ll help customers who’ve experienced damage to their homes (e.g., water leaks, fire, storms) and manage claims virtually from start to finish, working with field teams and suppliers to ensure a smooth resolution.
Responsibilities
* Own each claim from start to finish, keeping things moving and supporting customers
* Assess and manage household/building damage based on photos, video, and other information
* Coordinate with field teams and suppliers to ensure quality outcomes
* Provide clear communication and ongoing support to customers throughout the claims process
Skills and experience
* Experience in household/residential insurance
* Understanding of building repair and damage assessment
* Ability to assess reinstatement works using photos and video
* Knowledge of building materials, standards, and mitigation
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
