The contract runs for approximately 6–10 months and offers an excellent opportunity to play a key role in sustainable energy development. My client, a leading M&E Contractor, is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead a large-scale solar PV and EV charging installation project within a live hospital environment. Key Responsibilities as Senior Electrical Project Manager * Manage the full project lifecycle for solar PV and EV charging installations. * Develop detailed construction phase plans and ensure compliance with CDM and H&S legislation. * Lead project scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and reporting. * Oversee subcontractors and coordinate on-site activities to meet deadlines and quality standards. * Handle DNO applications, system design, commissioning, and as-built documentation. * Plan scaffolding and access routes (birdcage scaffolds, pedestrian walkways). * Liaise with hospital stakeholders to minimise operational disruption. * Enforce health & safety best practices throughout all project phases. Required Key Skills as Senior Electrical Project Manager * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. * 7–10 years’ experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in M&E or renewable energy. * Proven track record delivering solar PV and EV charging projects. * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, commissioning, and health & safety protocols. * PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management qualification desirable. * NEBOSH or equivalent safety certification preferred.
