Job Title: Bistro Assistant
Salary: £12.60 per Hour

It’s a relaxed, informal place where customers, their friends and family, or local community members can eat, drink, and spend time together, while receiving the best service from our team.
As a Bistro Assistant, you will be responsible for looking after customers visiting the Bistro and serving guests at corporate or private events in our function suites. Whether it's an intimate dinner, a Sunday lunch gathering, or a celebration in the venue, you will ensure our customers feel well looked after and leave satisfied, eager to return for another memorable experience.

Minimum Requirements:
* Demonstrate qualities aligned with Belong’s vision and values.
* Communicate clearly with a professional manner.
* Work as part of a team to meet customer needs and team goals.
* Prioritize tasks and complete them to standard and on time.
* Handle loads, catering tasks, cleaning, and operate catering equipment.
* Maintain accurate written records.
* Have excellent customer care skills and a desire to serve others.
* Prepare light meals and snacks such as sandwiches, baked potatoes, and Paninis.
* Be aware of health and safety and food standards requirements.
* Be reliable and able to work contracted hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.
* Experience in serving customers in catering or non-catering environments.
* Experience in a care environment is desirable.
* Possess or be working towards a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Handle cash and operate tills.
