We are excited to be recruiting for a full-time Assistant Centre Manager at Crawley Innovation Centre, our newest Centre in Oxford Innovation Space's network of over thirty Innovation Centres across the UK. This will be a key role in enhancing the sales, community engagement, operational efficiency, and overall financial performance of the centre. Oxford Innovation Space offers offering flexible workspaces including offices and workshop facilities, alongside tailored business support services to a wide range of clients including start-ups, high-growth SMEs, investors, and public sector organisations. At Crawley Innovation Centre, we will support a vibrant community of entrepreneurs and growing businesses in an iconic environment which the occupants are proud to call home and where others aspire to be. The space will be stimulating and creative and will be complimented by a quality food and drink offer (onsite Café) which will draw in other park users. As Assistant Centre Manager, you will report directly to the Centre Manager and work closely with the wider centre team, including the Innovation Director and the Customer Experience Assistant. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive and collaborative approach, with the opportunity to make a real difference in supporting the growth and success of innovative businesses. Major objectives of the role: Profile and Reputation: Support the Centre Manager to create a successful innovation centre locally, regionally and nationally by selling and marketing the product offering whilst enhancing its reputation for excellence Operational Excellence: Deliver a market leading service to the Innovation Centre community in facilities, support and collaborative connections and the training and development of centre staff Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service levels supporting the Centre Manager with overall management control and accountability for the commercial performance of the centre Deputy Responsibility: Deputise for the Centre Manager when absent from site overseeing the full operation and management of the centre and team Personal Competences: Attention to detail/completer finisher Excellent administrative and organisational skills Good communication skills, tactful and persuasive Highly self-motivated and proactive with a desire to contribute to the company more widely Client and customer services focussed Ability to work under pressure and multitask Motivate, lead and delegate tasks to team.
