We are seeking a full-time, permanent Teacher of Computing to join our busy Technologies faculty at Queensferry High School, The City of Edinburgh Council.

Hours: 35 per week
Location and School
The school is in the North West Locality of the City of Edinburgh Council. The catchment area covers Queensferry, Dalmeny, Echline and Kirkliston Primary Schools, and St Margaret's RC Primary School at parent/carer request. The school moved into a brand-new building with excellent resources and views of the Forth Estuary.
The school roll is over 1,200 and rising. We have a strong ethos focused on raising attainment, promoting achievement and providing successful outcomes for all our young people.
Role
We are seeking a full-time, permanent Teacher of Computing to join the Technologies faculty.
Pre-employment and Safeguarding
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to satisfactory outcomes of both pre-employment checks.
