Clinical Lead – Community Independent Living Services – Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership

Band 8a (NHS Tayside) / Dundee City Council Grade 13 (Local Authority) – Permanent (part-time hours would be considered)

Salary: NHS Band 8a (£62,681 – £67,665 ) / Dundee City Council Grade 13 (£57,685– £62,991)

Are you passionate about enabling people to live independently in their own homes and communities? Do you have the vision and leadership skills to drive innovation and excellence in community rehabilitation and reablement?

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to take on the pivotal role of Clinical Lead for our Community Independent Living Services. This is a permanent post, open to candidates from both NHS and local authority backgrounds (Band 8a / DCC Grade 13).


About the Role

As Clinical Lead, you will:

- Provide clinical leadership and professional support to a multidisciplinary team delivering community-based rehabilitation, equipment provision and adaptations to support independent living.

- Work collaboratively across health and social care, supporting integrated working between NHS and local authority colleagues.

- Lead on service development, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.

- Support staff development, supervision, and clinical governance.

- Along with the other clinical leads you will be a key member of the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy leadership team.
