Overview
Are you an enthusiastic, self-motivated pharmacist interested in a new challenge? Do you have a passion for education and training?
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Pharmacy Education and Training team within University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. We welcome applications from individuals who have a passion for training our next generation of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants. At University Hospitals Sussex, we have worked hard to develop progression programmes for development, so we would welcome applications for those who do not meet the post graduate qualification essential criteria as yet and are happy to support development within the role.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the training of staff within the UHSussex Pharmacy Department at St Richard’s and Worthing Hospitals.
* Organise the Trainee Pharmacist and the Foundation to Advanced Clinical Pharmacist pathway.
* Directly report to the Trust Clinical Lead Pharmacist and Consultant Pharmacist for Education and Training, and work closely with the Lead and Senior Pharmacy Technicians within the education and training team.
Requirements
* Postgraduate qualification essential criteria; the Trust welcomes applications from individuals who do not yet meet this criterion and who are happy to be supported to develop within the role.
Additional Information
We treat our patients and staff with the same compassion and empathy we expect for ourselves. We’re here for them when they need us, and we go above and beyond to meet their needs. This can be seen in our Wellbeing Programme for staff which supports work life balance where possible.
