About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in both home care and care home settings. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients.
Main Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Follow individual care plans and document any changes in clients’ conditions or needs.
Drive to clients’ homes or care facilities as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits.
Utilise IT systems for record-keeping and reporting purposes, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications Previous experience in home care or a care home environment is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and team members.
A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations is crucial for success in this role.
Experience with care plans and an understanding of basic healthcare principles will be advantageous.
