Contract summary:
Contract length: Permanent
Working weeks: Full time, during term time (33 weeks per year) plus two weeks during the holidays.
Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The role:You will assist with the smooth running of the Biology Department and be responsible for coordinating, advising and delivering the practical work across the department to meet the needs of the Biology curriculum. This will include overseeing pupils independent research projects, liaising with teaching staff and support staff outside the Department.You will also line manage Laboratory Technicians within the team and adhere to all legislative requirements in relation to Health and Safety. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the department to the highest standards of best practice, and is influential in contributing to an exciting, industry-leading teaching provision.
