About FC Civils Solutions:
This project is managed by FC Civils Solutions Ltd, a newly established Ferrovial Construction affiliate responsible for subcontracting major UK infrastructure schemes. The Edgcote viaduct, approximately 515 meters long, will carry railway traffic across the River Cherwell floodplain, supported by 20 pairs of concrete piers, blending into the landscape with minimal visual impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Effective communication with all project stakeholders, including site management, technical specialists, and clients.
* Monitoring safety practices and environmental standards on site.
* Ensuring quality delivery through planning and adherence to specifications.
* Supervising and mentoring junior staff.
* Tracking project progress and ensuring accurate documentation and drawings are available before work starts.
* Managing instructions, inspections, and quality checks.
* Assisting in planning and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies.
* Maintaining detailed records of resources and activities, including materials testing and non-conformance reports.
* Contributing to project forecasting and reporting.
* Providing precise setting out for construction works and coordinating checks.
Experience & Knowledge:
* Proven experience in setting-out structures and civil engineering or building construction.
* Prior civil engineering experience is essential.
