NHS TAYSIDE SPECIALTY DOCTOR IN FORENSIC PSYCHIATRY MURRAY ROYAL HOSPITAL Applications are invited for this full-time Specialty Doctor post in Forensic Psychiatry. The post holder will be based at Rohallion Clinic, Murray Royal Hospital, Perth. This post presents a great opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with experience of working in psychiatry to work within the Low Secure unit of the forensic mental health service based at Rohallion Clinic, Murray Royal Hospital. Applicants should have Approved Medical Practitioner status or be eligible to undertake Section 22 AMP Training. They will also be encouraged to maintain or develop special interests, as part of their professional and career development. The successful candidate will provide day to day medical input to a group of patients in the 24 bed Low Secure Unit under the supervision of a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist. The physical care of patients is largely provided by weekly sessions from a GP but this post also includes responsibility for providing emergency and urgent physical healthcare. The successful applicant will be expected to work closely with colleagues and may occasionally have to provide cross cover within the clinic.
