A long‑established and reputable installation business within the home improvement sector is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day running of their Watford operation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, busy, and supportive team where you’ll manage office operations, coordinate installations, and lead a team of four.
This is a hands‑on role that will involve learning the product range and occasionally assisting with lifting and moving goods.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading, supporting, and developing a team of four
* Managing customer enquiries and product sales
* Handling incoming calls and emails
* Providing face‑to‑face customer service
* Processing orders and scheduling installation work
* Checking deliveries against paperwork and maintaining stock accuracy
* Ensuring the office runs efficiently and professionally
* Some heavy lifting involved as part of the role
Essential Skills & Experience
* Previous supervisory or management experience
* Strong sales and customer service background
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Confident managing workload and prioritising tasks
* IT literate
* High attention to detail
* Team‑focused approach
* Full UK driving licence (up to 3 points acceptable)
