Service Team Leader - Main Dealer
Location: Kidderminster, Worcestershire
Salary: Basic £30,000 ; OTE £35,000

We are seeking a talented Service Team Leader to join a reputable automotive service centre in Kidderminster. In this pivotal role, you will lead, motivate, and organise the service department to deliver outstanding customer service and operational efficiency, ensuring that every customer receives top-quality care and attention.
Key Responsibilities as a Service Team Leader:
Lead and organise the service department team, including Service Advisors, Senior Service Advisors, and Assistant Service Managers
Ensure all service processes are completed accurately and efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
Act as a primary point of contact for customers, providing professional advice and resolving any issues promptly
Collaborate with workshop team members to schedule repairs and service jobs effectively
Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise department performance
Uphold health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment within the team
Manage administrative tasks related to service bookings, invoicing, and vehicle tracking in line with company proceduresRequirements needed for the Service Team Leader role
Proven experience as a Service Advisor, Senior Service Advisor, or Assistant Service Manager within an automotive environment
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and colleagues
Organised, proactive, and capable of prioritising competing demands
Customer-focused attitude with a problem-solving approach
Knowledge of automotive service processes and industry standards preferred
Valid driving licence preferable
Flexibility to work hours as required to meet service demands
Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and maintaining safety standardsNice to Have Skills:
Experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a busy dealership or service centre
Familiarity with service management software systems
Knowledge of health & safety regulations applicable to automotive service operationsPreferred Education and Experience
Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent; relevant industry qualifications are advantageous
