The Role
We are looking for a Multi-skilled Operative to join our team. If you have a Level 2 qualification in carpentry, brickwork, or painting and decorating - and enjoy working across different trades, this role could be ideal.
Working hours
09:30 to 18:00 Monday to Friday
Key responsibilities
Carry out repairs and maintenance across buildings, equipment, and outdoor areas
Complete planned jobs and respond to issues as they arise
Use company phone/tablet and software to manage tasks, records, and communication
Work independently or as part of a team, depending on the task
Help plan small projects, estimate costs, and order materials
Work from instructions and drawings, managing time to meet deadlines
Support apprentices, collaborate with other trades, and maintain high standards
Communicate clearly, report problems, and suggest improvements
What we need
Good basic Maths, English, and computer skills
Level 2/3 City & Guilds in carpentry, bricklaying, plumbing, or painting and decorating
Able to work across different trades and deliver quality work
Comfortable using Word and Excel
Good communication and teamwork skills
Able to read technical drawings and plan tasks
