The Ellmer College of Health Sciences at Old Dominion University (ODU) invites qualified candidates to apply for a clinical assistant professor faculty position in the Gene W. Hirschfeld School of Dental Hygiene. This is a full-time, 10-month, non-tenure eligible clinical track position. Our new, state-of-the-art facilities offer a 24-unit simulation lab, dental materials lab, dental hygiene research center, and on-campus 36-chair Dental Hygiene Care Facility. Annually, our students provide oral preventive care services to nearly 2,000 patients. Incoming faculty will be expected to maintain an active program of teaching, scholarship, and service for both undergraduate and graduate level programs, which includes mentoring graduate students in research.
