Overview
We are looking for Clerical officers to join our reception teams supporting our patient flow through the Radiology department in St Richard's Hospital.
You will need to be friendly, well-organised, motivated and work to a high degree of accuracy. The role will involve reception duties, organising sessions, and general support to the administration team. Candidates will need to be flexible in their approach to work as well as in their support of colleagues within the service demands.
Responsibilities
* Reception duties including answering the telephone and face-to-face patient contact
* Supporting patient and Clinical enquiries
* Emailing and posting of patient letters / reports
* Arranging patient sessions as required
* Taking post to post room
* Inputting data to allow accurate recording of statistics
* Undertake booking patients if required by the Service
Requirements / Qualifications
* Proactive and friendly attitude; able to demonstrate administrative experience and meet the main duties of the role
* Ability to work in a busy department with excellent team working and flexibility
* Ability to work under own initiative, with excellent organisational skills
* Experience in handling confidential information
* Desirable: experience within the NHS; full training will be given
