Senior SEN Officer - West Yorkshire
Location: West Yorkshire (Hybrid - 1 day per week in office)
Office Day: Wednesday (Halifax)
Day Rate: £275 - £350 (depending on experience)
We are seeking an experienced SEN professional with strong leadership skills, confident in managing complex statutory processes and supporting staff within a busy local authority environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Line management of a cluster of SEN Officers and Caseworkers, providing guidance and oversight
Managing, quality-assuring, and reviewing complex EHC plans
Ensuring compliance with statutory timescales and SEND legislation
Working closely with families, schools, health professionals, and partner agencies to promote collaborative working and positive outcomes
Supporting families throughout the EHC process with a person-centred approach and excellent communication skillsKey Requirements:
Experience managing SEN Officers
Local authority SEND experience
Proven experience reviewing and coordinating EHC plansReferral scheme: Earn up to £250 for recommending a colleague we successfully place
