About you
You’ll bring strong experience within textiles, particularly with printed fabrics.
* Confident discussing fabric performance, print methods and end use
* Comfortable balancing relationship management with proactive business growth
* Your ambitious; keen to bring ideas as well as results
* Naturally relationship-led and proud to represent a specialist brand
* Commercially aware, self-motivated and comfortable working with autonomy
* Focused on building long-term partnerships
* Open to travel, including international visits and weekend trade shows
* Looking to establish yourself within a business for the long term, with ambition to grow into leadership
About the role
This is a newly created and important hire for the business.
* It’s a balanced role across account management and new business development
* Growing sales across fabrics and printed textiles
* Building strong, long-term relationships with existing customers
* Identifying and opening new opportunities and routes to market
* Representing the business at UK and international trade shows (Occasional weekend work will be required)
* Visiting customers regularly and staying ahead of market trends
* Working closely with production and the wider team to keep sales aligned with delivery
* Starting predominantly on-site to fully learn the products and people, before moving to hybrid
* Clear scope to step into a leadership role as the sales function develops
