Job Title: Qualified Social Workers (Childrens)
Salary: £33,699 to £41,771 per annum, plus £4,000 marketforces*
Hours per Week: 37
Location: Redditch/Wychavon and Worcester/Malvern
Team: Families First District Teams

The Role
Qualified social workers in various locations across Worcestershire are sought to facilitate positive outcomes for children and young people. The role is part of the Families First team, working within a friendly, innovative multi‑disciplinary environment. You will be responsible for building on families’ strengths to manage times of crisis or emerging challenges.
Responsibilities
* Assess the needs of children and families, identifying and managing risk.
* Develop and implement plans to increase safety and meet needs.
* Work directly with children in their homes and in other environments such as schools.
* Build positive working relationships with children and families to enable support plans to progress.
* Liaise with internal and external partners integral to plans in place.
* Collaborate with Outreach Workers, Money Mentor, Family Support Worker, Youth Mentor, Substance Misuse, Emotional Health/Wellbeing Workers, Domestic Abuse Practitioners, Family Decision Coordinators and Advanced Social Work Practitioners.
* Be directly managed and supervised by leaders passionate about achieving the best outcomes for children.
