Directorate

The University of Bradford Library is currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Library Acquisitions and Purchasing Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy, forward looking and friendly university library team based on the Bradford University campus, a few minutes' walk from the city centre in the J.B. Priestley Library. The library team has achieved Customer Service Excellence for the past 4 years.

What you will be doing:

* You will be responsible for administering the acquisition and cataloguing of information resources including reading list management.
* You will provide a pro-active, quality service to meet the Library's purchasing and financial administrative requirements.

Qualifications/ experience:

* Experience of working in a library or information service is essential but experience of working in an acquisitions Department is desirable
* It is essential that candidates hold an English & Maths CSE Grade 1 or GCSE grade 4 and above or grade C and above.
* Experience of using a library management system, reading list system and finance system would also be desirable
