The Role – Secondary Welsh Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
Teaching Welsh across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning, preparing and marking Welsh lessons in line with Curriculum for Wales expectations
Delivering engaging Welsh language lessons that build confidence and fluency
Supporting learners of mixed ability, including pupils developing Welsh as a second language
Promoting Welsh culture, literacy and communication skills in the classroom
Maintaining strong behaviour management and a positive learning environment

Requirements – Welsh Teacher Newport
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching Welsh in a UK secondary school setting
Strong classroom management skills
Confidence delivering Welsh across KS3 and KS4
Commitment to raising standards and supporting pupil progress
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
