DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Work in collaboration with the Project Team, the overall Redevelopment Team, external consultants and advisors to execute the overall project development;
* Facilitate, manage and support: hospital responses to inquiries, issue resolution and task completion - in a timely and concise manner;
* Review proposed draft OS sections as they are received, comment or obtain feedback from relevant stakeholders as needed;
* Support the development of progress reporting to Infrastructure Ontario, Ministry of Health, Steering Committee, and the Communications Team;
* Attend, as required, project related meetings with the LH Redevelopment Team, Infrastructure Ontario, Project Co. and other project partners both internally and externally as required;
* Ensure appropriate decision making and agreement are obtained from required parties in the resolution of project development related issues;
* Communicate openly and collaborate with Project Team, entire Redevelopment Team, external consultants, advisors and sponsors to ensure a cohesive approach to successful project delivery;
* Liaise with project users (clinical and non-clinical) and other stakeholders to ensure needs are addressed and issues resolved to meet objectives of the project;
* Perform other tasks as required to accommodate the Project as it evolves into Design and Construction stages.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering where project management forms part of curriculum;
* 5 - 10+ years in related field;
* Accredited membership in related fields with the applicable Professional Association is an asset;
* Significant project management experience as part of a capital planning project is required;
* Experience in a clinical hospital setting is strongly preferred.
* Project planning, design, and construction implementation skills;
* Understanding of Infrastructure Ontario project delivery methods is an asset;
* Proven experience in effectively managing diverse teams of project consultants, specialists and user groups;
* Able to work in a fast paced, results and schedule driven environment both independently and as part of a team;
* PMP designation is an asset;
* Detailed understanding of construction methods and processes;
* Solid understanding of building systems & infrastructure;
* Knowledge and understanding of Ontario Building Code, CSA Standards and other applicable standards is an asset;
* Significant experience in managing project schedule, project budget and project changes;
* Sustainable Design/LEED/WELL experience is an asset;
* On-site construction review/inspection experience is an asset;
* Highly developed communications and presentation skills;
* Consultation, negotiation and consensus building skills;
* Experience in finding positive solutions to complex issues and problems with a variety of stakeholders;
* Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times;
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills;
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex and concurrent project activities, meet deadlines and manage change is essential;
* Well versed Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint. Experience in MS Project and Revu Bluebeam is an asset.
