This is an excellent position for someone who has an interest in civil engineering and would like to pursue a career within this specialism. Entry Requirements: Please note the qualification criteria for the Civil Engineering academic programme is set by the University for entry onto the apprenticeship and the City of Wolverhampton Council will be liaising with University of Wolverhampton prior to ensure candidates have met the entry criteria prior to any conditional offer of employment. Essential For this apprenticeship programme we require applicants to have achieved one of the following admissions conditions which must include the following subject areas of Mathematics and Physical Science. A Levels - grades CCC or above (out of the three A Levels, one A Level must be in Mathematics and one A Level must be in a Physical Science) BTEC L3 Extended Diploma grades MMM in a subject relevant to Civil Engineering or Construction/Built Environment Engineering and must include mathematics modules. GCSE passes at Grade 4 or above in English GCSE passes at Grade 4 or above in Maths Obtaining the post will be dependent on firstly successfully completing an interview process with the Council and then being accepted by the University to study for BEng (Hons) Civil and Transportation Engineering.
