The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Crane Engineer
to join our team. If you are a qualified Electrician with industrial maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
In this role, you will:
* Carry out routine service inspections on overhead cranes and hoists
* Apply knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations to ensure compliance
* Consult with customers, providing advice and recommendations to prevent breakdowns
* Perform fault finding, breakdown response, retrofits, modernisations, and upgrades on cranes and hoists
* Ensure safety is always the number one priority
Requirements
* NVQ3, HNC, HND, or City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Relevant experience with cranes and hoists
* Proven technical knowledge of lifting equipment and lifting machinery
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to build lasting client relationships
