As a Building Safety Specialist, you'll play a key role in evaluating, improving, and enhancing operational processes that support building safety. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll lead the implementation of process improvements and regulatory changes, driving operational excellence across the organisation. Responsibilities Analyse and map existing processes, identifying areas for improvement and increased efficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement process enhancements. Develop comprehensive documentation, manuals, and clear step-by-step guides for improved processes. Lead on the delivery of training and communications to support process changes. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of processes, recommending and implementing adjustments as needed. Update policies and management plans to ensure regulatory compliance. Contribute to innovation and technology projects that shape the future of building safety. Interpret and assess the impact of emerging legislation and best practices. Develop and maintain internal knowledge bases and collaboration tools to support building safety compliance and empower residents. About you Proven experience in process improvement, policy development, and operational change within a regulated industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and manage change effectively. Background in testing, change, and release management. Solid understanding of the built environment, particularly in relation to building and fire safety. Experienced in working with senior stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams. Proficient in process mapping tools (e.g. Visio, LucidChart) and methodologies like Lean Six Sigma. Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities. A collaborative, solution-focused mindset with the ability to work independently.
