Job Description
Based in Hove, our clients are looking for an experienced room leader to take responsibility for a room within a high-quality early years setting, working 40‑hour week with a salary up to £34,979 depending on experience.
Responsibilities
* Lead a room in a nursery or early years setting.
* Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences within your room and the wider nursery setting.
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements.
* Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
* Promote best practice and maintain a safe, nurturing environment across the nursery setting.
Qualifications
* Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant).
* Minimum 1 year’s experience leading a room in a nursery or early years setting.
* Knowledge of child development, EYFS and safeguarding.
* Strong team leader, able to motivate and support staff in your room.
* Passionate about early years and children’s development within a nursery setting.
* Proactive, flexible and committed to maintaining high standards.
