Greenarc Fuel Cards is growing, and we're looking for a CIPD qualified HR Business Partner to join us in a standalone role. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape our people strategy while also delivering day-to-day HR support across the business.

About the Role
As HR Business Partner, you will be the go-to person for all HR matters, working directly with managers and employees to provide professional advice, guidance, and support. You'll have the autonomy to design and implement people-focused initiatives that help us attract, retain, and develop our team, while ensuring compliance with employment law and HR best practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted partner to managers, providing coaching, training, and support to develop their leadership and people management skills.
* Advise on all aspects of employee relations, performance management, and HR best practice.
* Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, policies, and offboarding.
* Support managers with absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes.
* Maintain and update HR records, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
* Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and initiatives that align with our growth and culture.
* Champion employee engagement, wellbeing, and a positive workplace culture.
About you:
* CIPD qualified
* Previous experience in a standalone HR or generalist role, ideally within an SME.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
* Skilled in training and coaching managers to build people management capability.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build trusted relationships at all levels.
* Highly organised, proactive, and confident working independently.
* Flexible and adaptable, able to balance strategic and operational priorities.
