DT Teacher required from September – full-time, long-term contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled DT Teacher to work in a modern and creative learning environment just outside Bristol. The school fosters a hands-on approach to design, and this role offers the chance to teach imaginative and project-based learning from KS3–KS5.
Facilities include digital fabrication tools, CAD suites, traditional workshops, and a sustainable materials lab. The successful candidate will be encouraged to support student-led projects, take part in design competitions, and collaborate with other departments to enhance the cross-curricular experience. Enthusiasm, adaptability, and creativity are key.
Experience and Qualifications
• DT degree or Engineering background with teaching qualification (QTS)
• Confident teaching across multiple material areas and design methods
• Experience with CAD/CAM and digital prototyping desirable
• Committed to future-thinking education and sustainable practices
• Right to work in the UK
