Venn Group have been approached by a Specialist Association and would like to introduce the following position available:
Position: Registered Manager - Children and Young People
Location: Salford
Salary: £54,000 per annum with up to £12,000 bonus
Length: Permanent
Hours: per week
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage a safe, warm, and supportive children’s home that promotes positive outcomes for young people.
2. Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and maintain consistently high standards of care.
3. Lead, develop, and motivate a team of care professionals, supported by a dedicated Deputy Manager
4. Recruit and build a compassionate, high-performing team that shares the home's values and vision
5. Support team members’ professional growth through training, mentoring, and the internal Academy programme
6. Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to create a strong community and deliver holistic support
Essential Criteria
7. Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing an Ofsted-regulated children’s home rated “Good” or above.
8. Hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Children’s and Young People’s Workforce or Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
9. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality, safeguarding, and enabling young people to shape their own futures.
