Account Handler Description In this role you will be working within the FINEX National Professional Indemnity team, providing outstanding client service and support to a diverse portfolio of new and existing SME clients across various industry sectors, including, but not limited to; Miscellaneous, Design and Construction, Architects, Engineers, Accountants and Independent Financial Advisers.Working as part of an established team of Account Handlers/Executives across Ipswich and Manchester, the successful candidate will be based in the Ipswich office and will be responsible for a portfolio of clients with accountability for retention and account development. You will manage and develop existing client relationships and grow the portfolio, providing the appropriate advice and subject matter expertise required to deliver a class-leading service and ensure that we have the right insurances in place to fulfil our clients’ demands and needs.The role involves utilising various established PI facilities and the wider open market as appropriate. We work closely with our Network Brokers and our Willis Towers Watson (WTW) Retail GB teams, whilst also having direct Client relationships. As part of the team, you will be responsible for:• Developing strong relationships with your clients, understanding their insurance needs and ensuring that these are fulfilled, providing subject matter expertise where required. • Day to day client service, answering queries received from clients• Arrange mid-term adjustments as required • Preparing broking documentation, including market presentations to negotiate favourable terms and coverage with Insurers • Familiarisation of facility wordings • Ensuring client retention targets are met, cross-sell and up-sell where viable.• Encourage new business referrals and recommendations from existing clients• Manage and control your workflows, utilising relevant systems and ensuring they are updated accordingly, in line with compliance requirements• Work with our Mumbai and A&S teams to ensure timely delivery of service and settlement of premiums.• Always operate within the business policies, procedures and requirements• Maintain files in an orderly manner electronically, ensuring these are within CEM guidelines• Apply FCA operating principles and always work in accordance with Treating Customers Fairly• Support the BU in accurate forecasting and tracking of revenue The Requirements • Professional Indemnity insurance experience beneficial, but not essential• Ability to deliver high levels of client service.• Ability to build effective relationships, at all levels, with clients, prospects, associates, insurers, and external specialists.• Ability to manage your workload and balance competing priorities.• Good communication, negotiation and influencing skills.• Ability to represent the practice and WTW with integrity and credibility.• Experience and willingness of working with and adhering to processes and systems to support client service delivery.• Ability and willingness to learn.• Knowledge of Willis Towers Watson products and services • Experienced knowledge of insurance markets in order to deal effectively with clients and Willis Towers Watson needs Equal Opportunity Employer At WTW, we believe difference makes us stronger.
