About the Role:
As a Lounge Host, you will report to the Team Leader and be a key member of the team, ensuring guest expectations are met and exceeded, so they leave our lounges feeling Welcome, Relaxed & Energised.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
All hosts will be multi-skilled and will operate throughout the lounge:
Reception:
* Provide a warm and friendly welcome, efficient check-in, and set the scene for guests’ re-energising experience.
* Answer questions efficiently and direct guests to appropriate lounge areas.
* Manage capacity during peak times to maximize guest throughput.
* Bid farewell to guests to encourage return visits.
Food and Beverage:
* Ensure food and beverage offerings are available and well-presented.
* Maintain cleanliness and professionalism in food self-service and bar areas.
* Prepare food according to menu guidelines, including vegetarian and vegan options.
* Engage with guests while serving drinks and provide allergen and dietary information.
* Replenish stock as needed.
General Host:
* Clear and clean tables after guests leave.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the lounge.
* Respond to guest questions and comments with high-quality customer service.
Back of House:
* Assist with stock delivery and rotation.
* Follow recycling procedures for waste management.
* Load and unload the dishwasher.
* Restock crockery and dishes.
* Maintain hygiene standards across all areas.
Additional duties may be assigned by local leadership, and responsibilities may vary depending on location and customer needs.
Qualifications:
* Experience in hospitality or customer service with high customer interaction.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Computer literacy, including payment systems and Microsoft Office.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work shifts from 03:30 to 21:00, 7 days a week.
* Industry-recognized food safety training (FSA Level 2).
