Job Summary
Assist the Assistant Chief Engineer/Senior Duty Engineer in maintaining hotel equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
* Support the Assistant Chief Engineer/Senior Duty Engineer in daily department operations to maintain efficient facility management
* Perform standard maintenance on hotel equipment, including plumbing, electrical appliances, locks, heating, air conditioning, and bathroom fixtures, to ensure all are in good working condition
* Complete small renovation tasks such as painting, carpeting, and furnishing to maintain hotel aesthetics and functionality
* Inspect systems and equipment regularly to identify faults and coordinate timely repairs to minimize downtime
* Maintain readiness of all firefighting facilities and equipment by conducting regular checks and ensuring compliance with safety standards
* Keep detailed daily logs documenting maintenance work and repairs performed within the hotel
* Update and manage safety-related administrative documents to comply with regulatory and company standards
* Provide maintenance support and assistance to colleagues to resolve hotel facility issues promptly
* Demonstrate commitment to the Accor Vision and actively apply Accor Values in daily work
Required Competencies and Certifications
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in hotel, facilities, or construction maintenance
* ITE/Nitec Certificate in Building Facilities Maintenance, Electrical/Electronics, or Air Conditioning servicing
Preferred Competencies and Qualifications
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office to document and communicate maintenance activities
* Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and external contractors
* Ability to work effectively with mechanics to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
