Responsibilities
This position focuses on the design, development, and testing of high-frequency analog and digital electronic hardware and embedded processor firmware for ultrasound-based metrology instruments.
* Participate in the design and development of high-frequency analog and digital electronics.
* Develop firmware for embedded processors that directly control analog and digital electronic hardware via their GPIO pins.
* Build and test prototype products and production test fixtures.
* Trace design issues and bugs to their root causes and implement solutions.
* Help to create product documentation and specifications.
* Help to prepare assembly procedures and test plans for manufacturing products.
* Assist with sustaining engineering efforts for existing products.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering required.
* Minimum of three (3) years of experience with digital and analog circuit design.
* Familiarity with computer-controlled test equipment such as network analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
* Familiarity with Schematic Capture and PCB layout.
