Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V) in on-premise environments as part of a broader IaC strategy. Experience overseeing platform migration, CI/CD system architecture at scale, or cultural change in delivery practices. Expertise in GitHub and GitHub Actions, including reusable workflow authoring and secrets management. Expertise in Terraform module authoring and policy enforcement via Sentinel or OPA. Strong experience with HashiCorp Vault. Comfortable administering Linux and Windows in an automation-first context. Responsibilities: Own the end-to-end engineering delivery platform from developer commit to production artifacts across cloud and on-premise environments. Manage the artifact repository strategy, promotion gates, retention policies, and vulnerability scanning integration. Drive Terraform as the single source of truth for all infrastructure. Optimize established module standards, remote state management, and automated drift detection. Standardize on Docker and Docker Compose for both local development parity and production workloads. Build and maintain a standard pipeline framework for the organizations polyglot estate, primarily .NET and Java. Identify systemic delivery problems across teams and build consensus on solutions to deliver durable outcomes. Mentor Senior Engineers, conduct technical design reviews, and elevate DevOps knowledge through documentation and workshops.
