We’re looking for a proactive Compliance and Vetting Assistant to join our compliance team, ensuring all candidates meet the highest standards of compliance and safeguarding before starting their assignments. Key Responsibilities Carry out pre-employment checks including right-to-work verification, DBS checks, reference collection, and qualification validation. Ensure all candidate files meet contractual, legal, and framework compliance standards (e.g. CCS, NHS frameworks). Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM and compliance tracking systems. Liaise with candidates to guide them through the vetting process in a professional and supportive manner. Work closely with recruitment consultants to ensure compliant placements and timely onboarding. Assist with internal and external audits, providing required documentation promptly. Support the continuous improvement of compliance and vetting processes.About You Previous experience in a compliance, vetting, or administrative role, ideally within recruitment or the public sector. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Confident with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (experience with recruitment software is an advantage).
