Role Overview This role is pre-dominantly aimed at individuals who are recently graduated and who are looking to build a career in education, assessment, or the technology sector. As a Trainee Data Analytics Assessor, you will support learners working towards their Data Analytics SCQF8 qualification. You will develop skills in learner engagement, assessment practice, programme coordination, and quality assurance. You will learn to: · Coordinate Tech Trainers and subject matter experts to schedule learner sessions · Ensure technical feedback is gathered and communicated effectively · Monitor learner portfolio boards to track submissions · Follow up with learners where evidence has not been submitted within a deadline · Support the setting and management of realistic deadlines and individual learning plans · Track learner progress and maintain accurate compliance records · Deliver structured learner support and wellbeing sessions · Provide written and verbal feedback on learner’s work You will receive structured training and mentoring throughout to support your progression into independent practice which we estimate at month 6 in the role. Essential Skills & Knowledge · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Confidence communicating via Microsoft Teams and email · Good IT skills, including Microsoft 365 · Strong organisation and inbox management · Proactive approach to workload and problem-solving · Foundational knowledge of Python, Excel, and SQL · Interest in education, coaching, mentoring, and technology · Strong organisational skills and attention to detail · Ability to manage deadlines and follow up professionally We can support development in technical knowledge where there are skills gaps. No formal teaching qualification is required.
