Location: Kings Lynn Supported Living, South Wooton Community Hub, Grimston Road, Kings Lynn
Salary/Contract: £40,766.50 per annum, Full-Time 37 hours per week, Permanent

Independence Matters provide support opportunities for adults with learning disabilities, young people in transition and those living with dementia across the whole of Norfolk. Our mission is to empower individuals, their families, and carers, to live the lives they choose and remain independent.
Our service provides support to customers with learning and physical disabilities within their own homes. Our customers have their own tenancies in which we support them with independent living skills and provide person-centred support for physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. In addition to the above you will ensure new business is integrated and new processes are embedded into operations and all Governance monitoring, reporting and actions are completed as required.

You will need:
* Proven experience as a Manager within the social care sector
* An excellent understanding of the customer and demonstrable experience of developing and delivery services that are customer focused.
* Hold/Working Towards a Level 5 leadership/management qualification or equivalent.
* A range of ICT skills, including Microsoft Office, and an appetite to embrace the digitalisation agenda
* Experience as a motivational and inspiring people manager
* Excellent communication skills
Other requirements:
* An Enhanced DBS check with Adults barring is required for this role
* Essential the applicant holds a Full UK driving licence and use of a vehicle with business insurance
* To undertake designated out of hours, on-call duties for advice and guidance
