Role Description
This is an on-site full-time role, based in Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, for a Team Leader at Nurture Care Group. The Team Leader will oversee day-to-day operations within our therapeutic residential home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care for children. Responsibilities include supervising team members, maintaining compliance with care standards, fostering a nurturing and safe environment, and supporting therapeutic interventions. Additionally, the Team Leader will monitor performance, provide training and guidance, and maintain strong relationships with both the children and team to achieve positive outcomes.
Qualifications
* Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to inspire, guide, and develop staff.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with children and foster positive working relationships with the team.
* Organisational and problem-solving abilities to ensure smooth daily operations and address challenges effectively.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies, along with compliance standards for residential care environments.
* Experience in working with children who have experienced trauma, with a strong understanding of their needs and well-being.
* A Diploma level 3 or 4 in Childrens Residential Care.
* Flexibility and a compassionate approach to meet the diverse requirements of the role and the children in our care.
