What You’ll Be Doing:
Building strong, trusting relationships with children who need extra emotional or social support
Delivering 1:1 and small group sessions to help children with confidence, friendships, behaviour or emotional regulation
Supporting positive play and relationships on the playground at lunchtime
Noticing and recording any concerns or progress, and sharing this with the Pastoral Manager to help us respond quickly and effectively
Being a calm, caring presence who children and their families can turn to when they need a little support
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to help them flourish
Has experience in a school or pastoral setting (or a willingness to learn and develop in the role)
Is calm, empathetic and able to listen without judgment
Works well as part of a team and is confident communicating with both children and adults
Understands the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality
In Return, We Can Offer:
A warm, welcoming school community
A supportive team who care deeply about our children and each other
Ongoing training and development opportunities
The chance to make a real, lasting difference in children’s lives every day
Visits to the school are encouraged prior to application
