JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our Logistics team. The Warehouse Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Inventory Management:
· Organise and store items in the appropriate locations within the Warehouse.
· Assist the Warehouse Manager in conducting inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
1. Warehouse Maintenance:
· Help maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
· Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and responsibly.
1. Receiving and Inspecting goods:
· Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
· Report any discrepancies or damages to the Warehouse Manager.
1. Order Fulfilment:
· Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
· Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous experience in warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not essential.
· Forklift Truck licence required.
· Strong organisational skills and attention to details.
· Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
HOURS: Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.25 per hour
Expected hours: 48 per week
