Key Responsibilities
* Translate business and inventory requirements into detailed Technical Design Documents (TDD).
* Design and develop Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management (UIM) cartridges using Oracle Design Studio.
* Model and manage both logical and physical inventory structures within UIM cartridges.
* Work with UIM Inventory Managers such as Business Interaction Manager and Inventory Group Manager to support inventory lifecycle processes.
* Implement and configure performance and fault management capabilities within the Oracle UIM environment.
* Integrate Oracle UIM with Oracle and third-party OSS/BSS systems through APIs and web services.
* Develop and manage custom web services, fulfillment web services, rulesets, extension points, and UIM APIs.
* Troubleshoot and configure base application packages to ensure system stability and performance.
* Perform code builds, deployments, and configuration across development and testing environments.
* Support system integration workflows, including service order and engineering order processes across upstream and downstream systems.
* Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and delivery.
Technical Skills & Experience
* Strong experience with Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management (UIM).
* Hands-on experience developing UIM cartridges using Oracle Design Studio.
* Deep knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Oracle ADF, and Microservices architecture.
* Experience integrating Oracle UIM with OSS/BSS platforms and third-party systems.
* Knowledge of SOAP, REST, and JMS-based integrations.
* Strong skills in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and Unix/Linux environments.
* Experience with rulesets, extension points, and UIM APIs.
* Familiarity with code build and deployment processes across multiple environments.
* Understanding of Oracle RODOD/RSDOD solutions.
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
* Experience with AWS services and Kubernetes-based deployments.
* Knowledge of Java Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful Web Services, Git, XML, and SOAP.
* Experience managing system integrations and orchestration across OSS/BSS ecosystems.
