A weing andmunity‑focused secondary school in South Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their Design & Technology department on a supply basis. The school is part of a supportive trust and offers a positive environment for both staff and students.
The Role
1. Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4
2. Delivering pre‑planned lessons and maintaining continuity for learners
3. Supporting practical lessons and ensuring a safe, well‑organised environment
4. Working collaboratively with the wider D&T team and senior leadership
What We’re Looking For
5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
6. Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
7. Confident delivering both theory and practical lessons
8. Adaptable, reliable, and able to engage learners of mixed abilities
9. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
